About the event
Join Lincoln Hills Bible Church in celebrating Immanuel, God With Us: an interactive Christmas program, with a soup/dessert potluck to follow in the fellowship hall.
This year we are asking for everyone to participate in the program by taking a wreath home and decorating it to show how God has been with you and/or your family this year.
Who can participate?: Any individual, family, or group (anyone!)
What do I need to do?: Wreaths are available now, and can be picked up before/after church. Decorate your wreath to show how God has been with you this year and prepare to share with the congregation. We want to leave it open-ended, but here are some ideas to get you started:
What can you praise God for this year?
How has God been with you in your faith, hope, love, joy, peace, renewal, sorrow, change, hardship?
Think about next year. How will God be with you in a job change, retirement, moving, making friends, public speaking, providing for my family?
You can use ornaments, photos, household items, etc.-anything that can be fastened to the wreath and safely displayed.
When and Where? On Sunday, December 8 during the 10:30 worship service, participants will share their wreath and a brief testimony (1-3 minutes) about how God has been with them this year. Wreaths will be displayed following the program.
