About the event
Our annual church campout is September 19-21, 2025 at Newton Hills State Park (28767 482nd Ave, Canton, SD 57013).
Even if you are not camping with us, you are welcome to join us at the park on Saturday (September 20th) for breakfast, baptisms, and a time of fellowship, fun, and friendly competition (depending on your beanbag team!).
We have a campsite and cabins available; please let Shawn Mendel know if you are interested.
Campsite for the two nights: $64
Cabin for the two nights: $127
You can pay by putting a check in the offering with “Campout” in the memo.

Weekend Schedule:
Friday, September 19
4:00 PM – Campground check-in & beanbag tournament signups begin; teams of two are welcome to sign up (signup is at Shawn & Jen’s camper)
Evening – Campfire fellowship
Saturday, September 20
8:00 AM – Breakfast at Shelter #4. All are welcome - there will be sausage, eggs, and pancakes, so come hungry!
10:00 AM – Baptisms
Noon – Beanbag tournament signup ends (tournament bracket is created by random drawing)
12:30 PM – Beanbag tournament
Evening – Campfire fellowship
Sunday, September 21
Everyone to church as normal (9:15 AM Bible classes / 10:30 AM service)
Noon – Cabin check out
4:00 PM – Camping site check out
